Campbell River is located 1 hour and 40 minutes North of Nanaimo by car or 3 hours from Victoria by car, on the eastern shore of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

The scenery is exquisite, with snow-covered mountains to the west and the famous Inside Passage, known locally as the Strait of Georgia, to the east.

From Campbell River, you can see many of the islands of Desolation Sound including Quadra Island, Cortes Island and Mitlenach Island, which is a nature sanctuary.

Campbell River Airport is served by Canadian Airlines and Air Canada - Air BC. You can also reach Vancouver Island from the mainland by BC Ferries from Powell River and Vancouver, BC, and from Port Angeles and Seattle in Washington State.
